Premature Ejaculation and Evaluation with PEDT Test

Premature ejaculation is one of the most common sexual dysfunctions in men. Failure to control the duration of ejaculation can negatively affect the sexual satisfaction of both the individual and the partner. The root of the problem may be psychological factors (stress, performance anxiety) and biological causes (nerve sensitivity, hormonal imbalances).

What is PEDT Testing?

The Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) is a five-question assessment tool used to diagnose premature ejaculation. This test helps a person understand the severity of the problem and direct them to appropriate treatment.

Evaluation:

• 0-8 Points: Normal

• 9-10 Points: Borderline

• 11+ Points: Premature Ejaculation Problem
